This Privacy Policy explains how Dealwise ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website at trydealwise.com and the Dealwise application. By using the service, you also agree to our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, email address, and authentication identifiers (e.g. OAuth tokens provided by Google or email/password).
• Billing information — subscription status, plan tier, and transaction identifiers. Full payment card details are never stored on our servers (see Section 5).
• User content — prospect details, pipeline data, coaching conversations, and any other data you choose to enter into Dealwise.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration, browser type, device information, and diagnostic logs.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Dealwise platform.
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Generate AI-powered coaching, scripts, and prospect analysis (see Section 6).
• Process billing and manage subscriptions.
• Deliver support and transactional communications.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal and contractual obligations.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics tools to understand how users interact with Dealwise. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using the service.

5. Payments and Lemon Squeezy

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as our Merchant of Record for subscriptions, billing, and applicable taxes. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Payment information is collected and handled directly by Lemon Squeezy in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

6. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

Dealwise uses third-party AI services (such as OpenAI) to power coaching, prospect analysis, and script generation. When you use these features, relevant prospect and conversation data is sent to the AI provider to generate responses. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. AI providers process data according to their own privacy and data usage policies.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers that help us operate the product, including:

• Infrastructure and hosting — Supabase (database, authentication, storage) and Vercel (application hosting).
• Payment processing — Lemon Squeezy.
• AI services — OpenAI for coaching and analysis features.

Information is shared only as necessary for these providers to perform their services on our behalf.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 10).

9. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we continuously work to protect your information.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email listed in Section 14. You can also cancel your subscription at any time through your billing portal.

11. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country of residence. By using Dealwise, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your own.

12. Children's Privacy

Dealwise is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
